About the Company
Our client is a growing business who are focused on providing multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services with the highest levels professionalism. They have an experienced team of speech pathologists, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and psychologist working to make therapy input suit the individual needs of the families within the clinic, school or home. They have clinic bases in the beautiful central Queensland region, those bases are Rockhampton, Mackay, and Emerald.
About the Opportunity
They are now looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their company in Mackay, QLD with the potential to earn a negotiable salary based on your experience and the contract negotiated.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide Occupational therapy to children and young adults as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Reporting directly to the Director Services some of your responsibilities will include:
- Writing assessments & progress reports for children
- Overseeing therapy programs provided by the company
- Maintaining your caseload to provide assessment & therapy for children & young adults requiring therapy
About You
You will have:
- A Degree in Occupational Therapy & ideally have some working experience
- A current Drivers Licence & a reliable vehicle
- A current AHPRA registration.
Additionally, experience working with a multidisciplinary team, knowledge of NDIS Systems, Autism, and other complex developmental difficulties would be beneficial for this position.
This position would suit someone who can work independently and to deadlines, as well as be able to educate parents.
