About The Opportunity

They are looking for a Conference & Events Manager to join their company in St Leonards, NSW, with the potential to earn a negotiable salary based on experience + Super + Time in lieu. 

In this position, you will be responsible for the opening of the Conference Centre to ensure all clients requirements are met and are settled for their events.

You will oversee all hospitality staff and ensure the service level is second to none and are provided in a prompt and professional manner.

Reporting directly to the General Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinating and overseeing the daily conference operations
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that all equipment within the
    facility is operational at all times with backup or contingencies
    where possible

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing Conferences and Events
  • Experience in managing a broad range of staff

This position would suit someone who is a "Jack of all Trades" with the flexibility to work in a hands-on position. You will need to be efficient and have a good eye for detail.
