The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Level 1/2 IT Help Desk Coordinator to join their company in Hurstville, NSW, with the potential to earn $47,000 - $55,000 per annum including superannuation, negotiable based on experience and employee fit. 

The primary purpose of this position is to act as the first point of contact for customers by providing first level support as well as tracking, classifying and prioritising calls within the service desk environment including escalating calls to higher levels within the team.

Reporting directly to your Team Leader some of your responsibilities include:


  • Offer excellent first contact and ongoing customer service with clients
  • Build existing and new relationships with a range of clients 
  • Operate the Level 1 area of the service desk
  • Assist with identifying, prioritising and resolving stuck incidents and cases and notifying senior members of the team
  • Administer and maintain a range of networks and systems and provide IT guidance and support to clients
  • An element of project work in your role to help expand your technical abilities
  • Provide timely and appropriate change management and documentation of work  

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 12+ months experience in a similar role
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • A passion and aptitude for the IT Industry
  • Experience with Mac products (beneficial)
  • A commitment to long-term progression with the business
