Servicing both Australian and overseas markets, our client was established in 2009 and specialise's in illustrated books primarily for children. Their aim is to provide books that both entertain and educate using dynamic and engaging content that children will love.
Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their company in South Melbourne, VIC.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Financial Controller, whilst conducting general finance, invoicing and clerical tasks.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller some of your responsibilities include:
- Entering AR & AP data into MYOB and tracking spreadsheets
- Liaising with warehouse to follow up Sales Invoices, dispatches and arrivals
- Monitoring all stock inbound and verifying receipt of stock
- Assisting with the creation, payment and filing of monthly/quarterly royalty statements
- Answer the phone as required and communicate effectively with clients
To be successful in this role you will have 2+ years experience in a finance position. Additionally, advanced Excel Skills (V-Look Up, Pivot tables etc) will be required for this position. Experience working with MYOB and Pronto are also highly desirable.
This position would suit someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and would enjoy working in a varied role.
